Check catalog

This catalog is the human map of Aura’s official checks. Run aura check --explain <id> for the canonical explanation and the effective configuration on your machine.

Fixability is the default. A specific finding can become manual when the current application’s file shape cannot be changed safely.

ID Default Fix Common cause and remediation
ENV-001 warn manual An installed application is outside its supported range. Update it or use a supported release.
ENV-002 error manual An installed application is not authenticated. Complete that application’s login flow.
ENV-003 warn manual Repository ignore rules mix personal and shared agent state. Review the named rules and keep personal state untracked.
ENV-004 warn guided Application settings restrict the current project. Review the proposed setting-specific repair.
ID Default Fix Common cause and remediation
INS-001 error auto The canonical shared instruction file is missing. Run setup or preview the automatic creation.
INS-002 error auto A managed application does not load shared instructions. Let Aura create or repair its global link/import.
INS-003 warn manual Equivalent guidance appears in several instruction sources. Consolidate the named paragraphs deliberately.
INS-004 warn guided Legacy personal instruction files still carry active guidance. Choose what to consolidate and archive.
INS-005 info manual Two instructions appear to contradict each other. Decide which rule should win and edit the source.
INS-006 error guided An instruction import or local reference is missing or unsupported. Repair, replace, or remove the named link.
INS-007 info manual Loaded instruction context exceeds the practical token threshold. Shorten or split the largest sources.
INS-008 warn manual Global and project guidance conflicts with application precedence. Move or rewrite the rule at the correct scope.
ID Default Fix Common cause and remediation
MGD-002 info guided A reviewed managed skill has a newer or divergent source revision. Open setup and review the complete replacement.
MGD-003 info manual Aura detected an application with no manage/ignore decision. Run setup and make that decision.
ID Default Fix Common cause and remediation
MCP-001 warn auto A managed application is missing a desired manifest server. Preview convergence or resolve the named writer blocker.
MCP-002 warn auto An installed server differs from the manifest definition. Preview the update while preserving unrelated entries.
MCP-003 error guided A configured endpoint or stdio command cannot be reached. Use --online for remote probes and repair credentials, transport, or command availability.
MCP-005 warn manual A personal managed server remains in project configuration. Remove the repository entry after the global desired entry is present.

MCP-004 is not registered in this release while its guided credential rewrite is being redesigned.

ID Default Fix Common cause and remediation
SKL-001 error guided A shared skill has invalid frontmatter, a missing definition, or a broken local reference. Repair the named tree or review its guided removal.
SKL-002 warn auto A manifest skill is not deployed to every supported managed application. Let Aura repair owned links or resolve the named foreign target manually.
SKL-003 error auto An application skill link has no target. Relink/remove Aura-owned links or restore a still-selected skill through setup.
SKL-004 error guided Two skills expose the same invocation name in one application. Rename a skill and directory together or remove one entry.
